SpecialKolin’s next step: Podcasts

You read right, your ever-favorite blogger, specialKolin, is going to start doing podcasts. 

Podcasts you say?

You bet, those long .mp3 files you get off iTunes, you subscribe to, or if you’re a student in Liberty, Missouri, something you put on your Zune [or not]. 

Cool, what will it be?

Well, basically me babbling as usual, but in a more portable, useful medium. 

How often will this be?

I’m not even sure when I’m going to do the first one. I’m going to shoot for one a month. We’ll see after I record the first cast.

RE: blog titles [aka: Tomatoes eating kittens!]

I’m sure at least a third of my readers are bloggers. So, during my reading of all my feeds I stumbled upon this gem. Now, this probably isn’t a good example, but I’m going to keep going with this running thought of mine.

Why do you think this caught my eye? The headline. Headlines should grab the reader’s attention. If anything, it should be a quick piece of what the post is all about. Of course, make it interesting. Don’t make every headline “iPhone 3G review by a Half-Man Half-Tree doing the Charleston!” Yeah, I would actually LOVE to see that, and I’d totally read that, but don’t make every post ridiculous like that. 

So basically, I guess what I’m saying is that a good post needs a good title.
